👋 Why learn with me
Hi, I’m Vicky — owner of Storm’s Raw Emporium.
If you’ve ever been into the shop, you’ll know I don’t do one-size-fits-all advice, and I don’t believe every dog should be trained the same way.
I’ve been working with dogs for over 10 years, and I’ve worked with everything from full-on, high-energy dogs to quieter, more sensitive ones. What that’s taught me is that there isn’t one “right way” — it’s about understanding the dog you’ve got in front of you and working with that.
I’m not here to turn your dog into a perfectly behaved robot. What I want to do is help you actually understand your dog — how to read them, how to communicate with them, and how to teach them in a way that makes sense to them.
A big part of that is how I train.
I use simple games and play-based training — not just for the sake of it, but because it’s one of the quickest ways to get a dog to actually engage with you and want to learn.
When a dog enjoys what they’re doing, they focus more, they learn faster, and they’re far more likely to choose you over everything else going on around them.
That’s how you start building a proper bond — not by forcing things, but by becoming the most rewarding part of your dog’s world.
Because most of the time, the problem isn’t the dog — it’s that no one has ever shown you how to teach them properly.
Everything I show you is simple, practical, and designed to work in real life. Nothing overcomplicated, nothing unrealistic — just things you can actually use day to day.
And just as important as that, this is a safe space. You’re not expected to get everything right, and you’re not going to be judged. You’re here to learn, and that’s exactly what we focus on.
My job isn’t to train your dog for you — it’s to show you how to get your dog to actually listen, learn and work with you.
